In the #EShow FANtasy Challenge, they crown October's champion, a familiar face in the EHL and highlight some big games in What to Watch For.

The EHL All-Star College Series is in the rearview mirror and the boys recap the week for the Mid-Atlantic and Main All-Stars. With another win in the books, this time against Hiram College, there is much to discuss and many names to applaud in "Around the #EShow." To help break it all down, Pennsylvania Huntsmen and Main All-Star defenseman Tyler Newby joins the podcast for a extensive conversation from the All Star games to legos. Mike and Jake move onto some EHLP coverage before highlighting Jake's upcoming South trip and the big games up North in "What To Watch For."

Then, New Hampshire Avalanche All Stars Petey Silverman and Casey Fuller join the boys to give their thoughts on their All Star weekend. The Basile Brothers begin with an Around the EShow segment that goes through each day of the Ice Breaker Showcase, highlighting the big moments, big players, and big wins. Then, they are joined by Express Hockey Club forwards Nate Brissette and Philly Boncore, who swept their Showcase slate and are on a 6-0 start to the season. The Basile brothers will be taking over the reigns as the hosts of the podcast this season. For the Around the #EShow segment, we review both conferences within each division, and circle a number of returning players to keep an eye on this season. We also highlight the new franchises who are getting ready to play their first respective games in the EHL and the EHLP. Moving along to the FANtasy Challenge, and the crew calls out some names to consider when the first month of fantasy action begins on October 1st. Finally, we wrap it all up in What to Watch For, by preview the first four Games of the Week, which will include 2 in the EHL and 2 in the EHLP, and 2 per conference at each level.

On this week's episode of the #EShow podcast, we head back to 'Nutmeg State' to highlight the Connecticut Nor'Easter, who call the International Skating Center of Connecticut (ISCC) their home rink. The final edition of the summer coaches series features a coach with arguably one of the best playing resumes in the entire league. After playing junior hockey in both the USHL and NAHL, Mike Cichy advanced onto NCAA Division I, hitting the ice for two seasons apiece with the University of North Dakota and Western Michigan University. An NHL draft pick of the Montreal Canadiens, Cichy spent over a decade in pro hockey, before hanging up the skates and getting into coaching this past year. Starting out as an Assistant in year #1 with the Nor'Easter, Cichy worked alongside Nielsson Arcibal as Connecticut developed throughout the 2025-26 season. Now, back for his 2nd year with the program, Cichy will lead the way for the EHLP team, while continuing to assist the EHL squad as well.

On this week's episode of the #EShow podcast, we shift back to Massachusetts and highlight the Seahawks Hockey Club, one of the annual contenders from the Northeast Conference. Richard and the Seahawks are gearing up for a new season, with revenge on their minds, having been eliminated at the Regional Finals each of the past 2 years. Dissecting each loss, one can easily make the case that 1 or 2 bounces could have made all the difference in the Seahawks reaching Providence. Regardless, the EHLP team has served its purpose and more for the organization, as they've been able to develop and move players up to their top club. Richard is proud of what he's produced at the EHLP level, as it has helped further establish the culture the Seahawks have created from top to bottom, in their unique location on the Cape. Richard is looking forward to welcoming in a new group this year, and building off the momentum that they've established over the last few seasons.

On this week's episode of the #EShow podcast, we check off the Union Jr. Thunder, the first team from the Mid-Atlantic Conference. This week's summer coaches series features Sam Tafel, joining the podcast for the very first time. Entering their 5th season in the league, Tafel and the Thunder have taken strides forward each year, highlighted by this past season being their best in franchise history. Of course, the annual improvements in the win-loss columns are easy to recognize and acknowledge, but what also jumps out from the past year are the players the club advanced to the EHL level. Through a great affiliation with the New York Apple Core, Union also saw its first player hit the ice in an NCAA game this past fall. Tafel is confident that Tyler Gobel won't be the last player from the Thunder to move up to the EHL and then onto the NCAA ranks.
