The Bruins are the best team in the world in case you haven't heard. 3 more wins have come the B's way since the last show, all of them in emphatic fashion, including an old fashioned 2-game NY sweep.
The Leafs came to town for the first time this season and HOLY COW what a game it was. Rob and Joey recap the game of the year (thus far) from the fights, to the goals, the back and forth drama, and a come from behind win to end the B's losing streak of one (1).
The Bruins take all 6 points on their west coast road trip on the back on David Pastrnak's SEVEN (7) goals. Rob and Joey break down the biggest moments from the games, including a scrum only seen on the Anaheim broadcast, amidst one of the most dominant performances of the season.
Trent Frederic fought a guy he's very open about not liking, and then scored 2 goals 30 seconds apart to propel the B's to a win over the Kings. Joey and Rob recount The Freddy Game, talk Jake's injury and timeline, and check who on this team is on pace for a record-year.
The 2023 Winter Classic is in the books, and another W is on the board for the Boston Bruins. Joey and Rob break down the biggest moments from the festivities including the vintage fits the boys arrived in, the best of the ceremonies, and Jake's two-goal performance that fueled the B's comeback.
Pete Blackburn joins the show to talk about the Bruins' defeat of the New Jersey Devils, just how good the B's are, what it will take for them to make it all the way, and preview the Winter Classic. Plus a little talk about Toronto fans because obviously.
The B's come from behind to beat both the Jets and the Devils on a back-o-back leading into Christmas weekend. Pastrnak ties Bobby Orr for 10th-most goals in Bruins history. The Bruins have some weird restriction with flying coming up apparently. Sergei Federov was a Columbus Blue Jacket. Uncle Nick would/will make a great hockey media personality. And much more.
The Bruins drop a touchdown on the Florida Panthers, and lose to the Kings in another shootout. They also beat the Blue Jackets, damn it has been a while since we did an episode.
Also, Connor Clifton doesn't like Cliffy Hockey? I don't buy it.
The B's round out a trip out west with a win in Vegas, and a shootout victory back home against the Isles. Jack puts on a clinic from the booth, Jake scores twice in 19 seconds, Swayman continues to struggle, and Nick Ritchie hates being the moon.
The home winstreak comes to an end at the hands of Bruce Cassidy's Golden Knights. Eradicate the shootout immediately. The very injured Avalanche are still no match for the Bruins. Joey and Rob break down some goaltending statistics, gawk at the Bruins' depth again, and wish for some adversity to see this team overcome. B's are the best team in the world in case you haven't heard.
