Welcome back to another episode of Bearly Qualified, my name is Jason Maxwell and with me as always are Drew Bailey and Nick Lavris.  One more game left in this NFL season.  Superbowl 60 between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.  Rematch of the memorable Superbowl 49… I’ll be honest, I’m not as excited for the game itself this year.  Sam Darnold vs. Drake Maye… just doesn’t really get my heartbeat racing.  Regardless, it IS the super bowl, there’s plenty of fun stuff to talk about in the days leading up to the big game.  So on this, our 44th episode of season 2 of the Bearly Qualified Podcast:  We’re going to breakdown the Superbowl matchup, lock in and track some Superbowl prop bets, touch on some recent bears news… we’re a bears podcast after all.  We’ll discuss the latest heading coaching musical chairs and we will round it all off with our podium list.  This week’s list will be Coaches you can beat in a fight, so you’re not gonna want to miss some entertaining hypotheticals there.

Welcome back to another episode of Bearly Qualified, my name is Nick Lavris and with me as always are Jason Maxwell and Drew Bailey. What a game, what a season. I don’t know about you guys, but there was a moment, probably right after the Bears converted 4th and inches in OT, when I was convinced the Bears were winning the Super Bowl. That feeling didn’t last long, but what a feeling for those 30 seconds. We are going to break down everything about the Bears/Rams Divisional game on Sunday, go around the league and do a Podium List of the best Bears plays from the 2025 season.

Welcome back Everyone to another episode of the Bearly Qualified podcast. I’m Jason Maxwell and with me as always are Drew Bailey and Nick Lavrisl. Here we are boys, getting ready for ANOTHER playoff game this season.  Expectations have been blown by, the emotional high is still lingering within the Bears fanbase.  A quick reminder to ourselves real quick:  It had been 15 years since the Bears had won a single playoff game.  2010 being the last time.  But there’s still work to be done.  Our Cardiac Bears host an elite team in the the LA Rams on Sunday night.  This is undoubtedly going to be the biggest test of the year for the bears in a win or go home playoff setting that is sure to have soldier field rocking.  So on tonight’s episode we’re going to break down the matchup against the Rams, touch on some coaching news from around the league, and then step into the BQ Fantasy and Gambling Corner with our plays of the week.

When you think they’re dead, when there’s no hope left, when you want to go to bed and not even watch the second half, the 2025-2026 Chicago Bears know just what to do……win the fucking game. This isn’t just a flash in the pan team anymore, major stigmas and hurdles have been passed and any obstacle that this team faces NO ONE can count them out of. Of course all of those words are because of the 31-27 Wild Card round win against our bitter rivals the Green Bay Packers, and tonight we are going to talk about that game, probably for a while, talk the rest of the pretty spectacular Wild Card Round, and finish it all out with another fantastic podium list

Welcome back Everyone to another episode of the Bearly Qualified podcast. I’m Nick Lavris and with me as always are Drew Bailey and Jason Maxwell. The Rubber Match, Third times’ the charm, three’s company, the trilogy, whatever you want to call it, the Bears and Packers match-up for the third and final time this season with all the marbles on the line. This is, without a doubt, the most important Bears game in 15 years. I would love nothing more than to sit here and exclaim my utmost confidence in the Bears this weekend. However, my feelings on this game are a toxic mix of confidence and fear. This game is all I can think about and I just want to fast forward to Saturday at 7 PM.

Happy New Years guys, hope everyone had a good one and is getting off to a good start to 2026.  The Bears sure as hell got off to a mixed bag start to 2026 after falling to the Lions at soldier field yesterday 19-16.  BUT, even with the loss, the Bears still manage to lock up the 2 seed in the NFC.  No harm, no foul at the end of the day, but boy did that game look rough for the first three quarters.  So on today’s show we’re going to break down the bears/lions game, talk playoffs, black Monday for NFL coaches, and round it all out with another fantastic podium list.

The Bears have officially clinched a playoff spot and have a foothold on the NFC North, with a magic number of 1 to clinch the division. The Bears are also 2 wins and 1 Seattle loss away from the #1 seed. We will talk through all of that, plus preview our week 17 matchup against the 49ers, and much, much more.
