Dan Millman is a former world champion athlete, Standford gymnasts coach, and author of 17 books. He was also voted Senior U.C. Berkeley Athlete of the Year in 1968. 

After an intensive, twenty-year spiritual quest, Dan’s teaching found its form as the Peaceful Warrior’s Way, expressed in his books and lectures (one of my favorite authors who had a profound impact on my life).

Dan’s books have inspired and informed millions of readers. The major motion picture, “Peaceful Warrior,” starring Nick Nolte, was adapted from Dan’s first book, based upon incidents from his life.

In the 2017 Collegiate Rugby National Championship, Robert Paylor broke his neck and his life changed in an instant. Immediately, he was told he would never walk or move his hands again. Robert didn’t accept that reality and miraculously willed himself to walk again, against all odds. A must listen! 

Charles Huang is the co-creator of Guitar Hero, the music video game that went on to sell more than 30 million units and gross over $5.5 Billion in sales. 

Jennifer Pfister is the Founder of Impactify and also an exchange student studying at Cal for one year while leading a team of 10 in 3 continents. She won the ActionAccelerator pitch contest at the Enactus World Cup in Silicon Valley and pitched her startup idea at the Google Headquarters. Go Jennifer!

George and Ofek are the founders of Quokka Brew, the market's first fully caffeinated jitter-less coffee. Definitely one of the most amusing calls thus far. Go check them out!

Avinash Jain, a sophomore at UC Berkeley currently teaches over 400,000+ students around the world how to code through his online courses. As the founder of TheCodex, he is both a programmer and entrepreneur. This includes his youtube channel with over 34,000 subscribers, and 40+ courses on Udemy and TheCodex website. This guy rocks! Christine Tao is the Cofounder & CEO of Sounding board — A VC backed startup that helps companies develop their next generation of leaders through scalable, personalized 1:1 leadership coaching. She did Haas undergrad and Wharton MBA.

Jessica Schwabach started Sundial Foods ( an alternative meats company) in a challenge lab at UC Berkeley with her co-founder Siwen Deng, ultimately winning the collider cup. Jessica is currently withdrawing from school in order to take Sundial Foods to an accelerator in Switzerland. What an inspiring story!
