Beating a Dead Horse

We've got some big news today! First, we'll occasionally have update episodes, just to keep y'all up to date with what we're doing.

Second, Patreon! We've launched a Patreon! We'll be using this Patreon to keep producing ad-free episodes, as well as a way to produce MORE episodes! Check it out over at Patreon.com/BaDHCast

Third, Rebranding! We're going to start doing light rebranding, just to keep our identity more in line with our content, so stay tuned for more on that!

Finally, Guests! We want to have more guest episodes, so if you know someone who wants to be a guest, someone who would be a good guest, or want to be a guest yourself, hit us up!

The Good, Christian Podcast returns, replacing the usual drivel and aggressively anti-God Beating a Dead Horse. This year we take a calm, analytical look at the masterpiece that is Fallen Kingdom: Jurassic Park 2.

[This episode is a joke and nothing within should be taken as fact. Opinions expressed are done so in satire and should not be seen as serious.]

So US is really freaking good, right? And yet somehow, we ended up with not a lot to say about it. We talk about what we feel the themes are, where the movie may fall short and the incredible performances. And yet....

It's another video game episode, which means it was another live episode! We talked about NieR: Automata and the overarching themes of life, mortality and finding purpose in war.

And we did it live at twitch.tv/helpless_skippy! We do this around the third Tuesday of every month so if you wanna add your voice to the Q&A, come join us next month for Danganronpa 2: Trigger Happy Havoc!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We have THE most original gift for you: 2 white dudes. With a podcast. Drinking. And talking about Leprechaun. You're welcome, internet!

This week we're talking about Alita and, despite what our title may suggest, we didn't hate it. Heck, Jackson even liked it. We're just kind of confused by it, though.

This week, we take a far more serious look at ROMA, the incredible work that went into it and the overwhelming banality of death.

Plus a brief discussion of chickens.

Its the first show we recorded live! We talked about the characters we loved, the people we'll miss and the deaths that hurt us the most.

Join us every month for our live video game discussions!

When BlacKkKlansman came out, Jackson was out of the country. Which was a bummer, cus we really wanted to talk about it. Thankfully, it got nominated for Best Picture in the Oscars so hey, here we are!

Its another divisive episode! Sean talks at length about why the movie doesn't work, and Jackson defends the good with all his might.

Also, Jackson dives into the man who may have inspired the premise of the movie!
