This song dates back to our college dormitory years. There were always "winners" on our floor we had to deal with.

This is the demo of the version on Beatnik Turtle's first album, What We've Got.

Mmmmm...beer...and hey, speaking of beer, this song was totally inspired by beer enthusiast and podcaster, Charlie The Beer Guy, who's popular Speaking Of Beer podcast explores the Beeriverse each month. If you're into beer, pour yourself a cold one and check out his podcast! Mmmm...beer...

This song was originally recorded in 1988 and has received an updated treatment for The Song Of The Day.

And, we highly recommend reading this book by Lawrence Lessig who helped found Creative Commons: Free Culture . It's an eye-opener.

Back in 1995, before Beatnik Turtle, we flirted with playing live. We never did, opting instead to write a bunch of songs and play them "live" - all at once - into a multi-track recorder. This then is the theme we wrote to our non-worldwide-stuck-in-the-basement tour.
