Beatnik Turtle's Song of the Day

While Jason loves the start of daylight savings time (more light for all), Tom prefers the end of it. In fact, Tom loves this particular weekend (because of that extra hour) so much he not only revamped this song, he wrote another one for tomorrow: "The Longest Day (For Joe)."

Things have been pretty busy at Beatnik Turtle headquarters the last few weeks getting ready for the release of The Indie Band Survival Guide written by our very own Jason and Randy! We have new Beatnik Turtle songs in the pipeline, but in order to get everything ready for the book's release we decided to present encores of some of the best of last year's songs.

Last year, we recently created this theme for Mur Lafferty's fantastic audio novel podcast, Playing For Keeps. You can hear it at the Playing For Keeps website!

Playing For Keeps is now a printed book from Swarm Press! It releases this week and is available at Amazon!

Tom wrote a number of songs about a year ago that inevitably had an autumn flavor to them. This is the first one, with more to come before the year is done.

When listening to today's song, try turning out all the lights and sitting alone quietly. There's no such thing as ghosts, right? Happy Halloween!

Sometimes it's tough to shut off the brain, stop thinking, and just go to sleep.

What a nightmare!

We love Casio keyboards here at The Song Of The Day, but this one must have been a little bit schizo...

Creepy...

Well, how long do you have? Satisfy your morbid curiosity this Halloween.

They're everywhere!
