From protest to a celebration of pride Mardi Gras has become an international beacon of hope for many LGBTIQ people this weekend. As many make the pilgrimage to Sydney for the sights and sounds it’s important to remember this all started as a protest against police brutality and outlawed homosexuality. Oh how far we’ve come! Tonight on Beatz we pay homage to 40 years of Mardi Gras with some tunes that will get you moving and into the spirit of this amazing event!
