In this exciting episode, Beau Bradley (he/they) and special guest, LGBTQIA+ advocate, content creator, Queer Life Coach, and all around bad-ass, Lexi Chandra (she/they), open the dialogue on the gender binary and how it can be damaging. The pair discuss the importance of utilizing pronouns, and why it's beneficial to cis-people, and that it should be standard. Beau opens up to Lex about how challenging it can be to feel accepted at home and how important it is to open the door to conversation. Lex shares their own personal experience moving to New York as a nonbinary 20-something and how working with Trans Elders, really allowed them an incredible insight into the history of our community. Listen in for an in-depth conversation on the expansiveness of intersectionality, the trans community and how inclusivity and creating space for conversation are pivotal to continue propelling gay rights further than ever before. Join Beau Bradley (They/Them/he/him) and special guest, Howard University PhD Student, and published expert on sexuality and non monogamy, Chris Smith (they/them/omni), as they discuss the intertwined nature of queerness and blackness, along with their personal journey with non monogamy. Chris explains the three main types of non monogamy, their experience as a queer child in a conservative black household and how everything they do is routed in love, caring, and respect. Other things covered in this episode include backwashing, cheating, and why it is imperative to be your own primary partner. Join along in this fascinating conversation where Chris's wisdom and knowledge can help us all learn to be more caring and accepting.
