Beautiful Noise

An and Duong reunite over Skype to chat about still images vs. moving images, recent influence, and Duong's new zine. There's a lot of pent-up energy and peaked emotions as the duo hadn't talked in a longggg time but it's worth it so please don't skip anything. Also, we switch back and forth between English and Vietnamese occasionally so please excuse us.

Sidenote: there's a full-ish, unedited version of this chat for when we went live on our Instagram. Look for it in our IGTV section.

That's right, we're turning to the paranormal for noise. With the pandemic still raging in the USA, it has become harder to find noise in regular places. So with the suggestion of An's cousin, Thang Nguyen, we take this episode into the dark wooden realms of suburban Dallas, Texas.

Happy Halloween 👻

Love you 666

Tại sao cả An và Sarah đều bị con cá quyến rũ? Tại sao An cứ so sánh câu cá với nhiếp ảnh hoài?

Before recording, we did a quick a Q&A on our Instagram and we got some interesting ones that we're answering in this episode. The rest you'll hear in our next episode. Also, Tung and I didn't see each other for 3 weeks so please endure us being emotional. Listen until the end because we mention maintaining your mental health during this weird time. It's all good vibe so please get comfortable and enjoy this somewhat longer episode.

Special thanks to @lucasfowler75, @huyqv, @koyaanis.qatsi, and others that submitted your questions.

Have a mood you want to share with us? Email it to [email protected] and we'll feature it on our Instagram.

We love you guys 🎶

In this episode, join Tung, aka "coke", and An as we explore one of the latest and strangest phenomenons in Vietnamese meme culture: gangsters. And then, we answer some of the more difficult questions about photography that we encountered. Really spicy stuff.
