What does it mean to care for one another as the people of Christ?

In this first sermon of the Together in Christ series, we hear Jesus teach His Church how to walk together in repentance, humility, and reconciliation.

Christian community is not built on perfection. It is built on the grace of God, the truth of His Word, and a willingness to care for one another. In Matthew 18, Jesus speaks about humility, protecting the vulnerable, confronting sin, seeking restoration, and the importance of gathering together in His name.

As followers of Jesus, we are called not simply to attend church together, but to live together as people who have been forgiven and shaped by the grace of Christ.

What does it really mean to follow Jesus?

We reflect on Jesus’ call to discipleship and what it means to follow Him in the midst of a world that often points us in a different direction. Following Jesus is not always easy. It involves sacrifice, trust, perseverance, and taking up our cross but it is also a life filled with hope because we follow the One who was crucified and is risen.

Jesus does not promise His disciples an easy life. He promises something greater: His presence, His grace, and the hope of resurrection life.

Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are returning to faith, or are simply exploring what Christianity is about, this message invites you to consider the call of Christ and the hope He gives to those who trust in Him.

What is worth more than everything else we possess?

How does God's kingdom grow?

What does Jesus mean when He says that following Him may bring division, sacrifice, and hardship?
