In this meditation you’ll explore the different areas of your life through the lens of your chakras, moving from identifying survival patterns to affirming your pathway to thrive. You'll first be guided through a relaxation exercise, and then transition into a journey up the chakras to look within and wonder where you may be trapped in survival habits that keep you from thriving in your life. To finish the meditation, for each chakra you’ll be offered an affirmation to move you towards thriving for each area of your life. You might consider having a journal nearby to make notes or further process what arose during the meditation after you finish, or repeat the meditation, stopping and starting to capture what you might explore in more detail to move out of surviving and into thriving in your life.
Music by Chris Collins accompanies this guided meditation.

In this episode of Beautiful Work Beautiful Life, host Laurel Boivin explores the powerful and transformative journey of moving from loss to purpose. As part of a multi-episode focus on loss, Laurel invites listeners to look beyond pain and grief to uncover the deeper meaning and potential that can emerge from life's most difficult moments.
Through personal insights and moving stories—from public figures like Gabrielle Giffords and Amanda Gorman, to the courageous and inspiring path of her friend Angela Whitten, Laurel illustrates how loss, though painful, can become the fertile ground for discovering renewed purpose.
Listeners are encouraged to reflect on what purpose means to them, even (and especially) in the wake of heartbreak or transition. With gentle guidance, Laurel offers three heart-centered practices to help begin this process: asking what remains, following the pull of what feels meaningful, and engaging in reflective journaling.

In this episode of Beautiful Work, Beautiful Life, Laurel Boivin invites you to embrace a transformative truth: your legacy isn’t just something you leave behind—it’s something you live every single day.
