In this episode, I will be sharing some updates about my life since my last episode, almost a year ago and why i almost quit podcasting. I will also talk about the current state of our world and how life as we know it has changed drastically. I will also share my insight on the topic of discernment.

In this episode, I talk about a personal decision I made that greatly impacted my life thus far; that decision is to become a christian. I discuss the experiences and situations that led me to the life changing transformation that I encountered once I received salvation. I have never been one to shy away from topics that gear to my faith and my relationship with Jesus Christ. However, I have always felt skeptical about opening up about my feelings of inadequacy, anxiousness and extreme sadness in fear of negative reactions. Nonetheless, I combated these feelings with the idea that someone else may be going through this challenge in their life and I want them to understand that I have experienced these same emotions and because of my relationship with God, I overcame. In this episode, I dismantled the word 'friend' and broke it down into some important parts. I shared childhood knowledge on what I perceived a friend was, I discussed the different types of masks people wear when they want to enter into your life under the pretense of being your 'friend' and the many reasons why they do so. Among many others, I talked about what I believe a genuine friendship consists of. This topic is one that we can all relate to, so get  ready to be nodding your head with every point I mention, as we uncover the beauty in genuine friendships.

In this episode, I will be discussing the topic of Mental Health. Being a Nursing Student and working at a hospital has definitely taught me a lot and given me a first hand experience with people that deal with mental illness, as well as an increasing compassion for people that suffer from Mental Illnesses. There’s a lot of things that I will be discussing in this episode including the misconception that mental illness is not a real illness, -unlike physical illnesses- which is highly inaccurate. This podcast is filled with a lot of information that will definitely give listeners a different perspective or a new perspective on mental illness and helping people that deal with mental illness.
