The New Year is right around the corner and if your anything like me that you need to let go of the old so the new can come in. I once was the girl who bought "stuff" to feel good.  As a middle child i always got hammy downs so when i turned 16 and i was finally able to work and have my own income i tried to fill in what i never had as a kid with purses, shoes, clothes you name it just because i could and i wanted to prove to myself that i could (take care of myself)

But what this really did was clutter my apartment space. I had so much stuff that i wasn't even using but yet i didn't want to throw it away because (i might use it one day ) even though i hadn't in the past 2-4 years.

I needed to let go of what was taking up so much space and realized that i was trying to make myself happy with external object vs. being happy internally.
