[Sermon Note] Jesus You Are Beautiful

The Lord gave this name to this ministry.
The people here are most beautiful of all
The beauty of Jesus flows through Jesus
It is really awesome. The people are 5 stars. He gave us the best. He gave us His Son Jesus Christ.
If not for Jesus we won’t be here.
All our lives have no meaning until we have Jesus
Our lives is all because of Jesus
He is the One who is the most beautiful of all
Isaiah 61:1
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
How this name Beauty For Ashes come about.
The Lord asked –
What do you want in this ministry?
I want lives that were messy before and who were hopeless, and felt no purpose, lost, i just want their lives to taste Jesus and have their lives transformed and to fulfil the purpose and meanings in this world
The finished work of the cross, because of what Jesus has done, we can carry on this mission
1st part of Jesus ministry, we are poor in spirit when we don’t have Jesus.
2nd part of Jesus ministry is to heal the broken hearted
To proclaim liberty to the captive
To open the prison to those who are bound
Prisoner in our mind and spirit before Jesus came to set us free
Jesus’ ministry to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. It is the year of favour
Every year. Not only one year.
Isaiah 61:2
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
Jesus called Holy Spirit the Comforter
Luke 4:16-17
Jesus Rejected at Nazareth
(Matt. 13:54–58; Mark 6:1–6)
So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To bring healing and restoration
Healing not only physical, but our mind as well. And heal of broken heart
Healing brings back to wholeness
Heal – iaomai
To make whole
Our hearts are so easily broken. Jesus make us whole again
Broken – break in pieces
The paint of been broken cause people to shiver
Jesus has redeemed us from broken heart
The heart is the center of everything
Passion, desire, appetites, affections, purposes, endeavours of the understanding.
We are created in the image of God
We were capable of ℓσνє before Adam fall
No one is born in this world without purpose
The purpose was revealed in Genesis.
Let us make man. His purpose is for us to enjoy in this earth. He never meant for children to cry and in pain.
Those who are in Him don’t have to cry. His redemption is much more glorious than creation.
Jesus redeemed and changed everything even more beautiful.
We have purpose and endeavours in our lives
All is God’s purpose. Without God it is distorted.
We are redeemed in Christ, all our dreams are no longer selfish.
This new heart has God’s purpose inside.
Understanding of God’s will, God’s life. The fruit of the Holy Spirit.
We bear the fruit because we are born again.
God created us and put all the sensibilities, affections, emotions in our hearts but our hearts are broken. He came to heal
Blind – spiritual blind. Totally black. Condition of man who is in complete blindness. Not even a ray of light.
People who said they cannot see God
When we can’t see God we miss out the most beautiful of the Universe.
Jesus came to do deliverance and liberty
