It is domestic violence awareness month. There are 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. Because I am a leader of nonprofit organization that serves survivors of domestic violence and I see women who have recently come through it or still going through it and it happens so much.
