Contouring is so important for being on camera. Camera takes away 50% of the makeup applied to the face. Lighting in photography also takes away a lot of the definition of the face. In makeup, step 1 is we have to perfect the canvas and make the skin one even tone. It essentially leaves us with a blank even canvas. Contouring allows us to carve out your best features and make the face appear 3d again.

Scientifically, the most aesthetically pleasing face shape to the human eye is oval. Contouring can be used to get any face shape to a more oval shape or to create symmetry.

Snail slime is a new up and coming ingredient in the cosmetic world, you’re going to be seeing more and more of it. It is an ingredient that really cannot cause any harm to the skin, it boasts many beneficial claims but also needs more scientific research to back up it’s claims.
