The bible looks at the evil eye as selfishness, envy and jealousy; I am inclined to state that it also includes coveting thy neighbor. As children of God we are assured that no weapon formed against us shall prosper because through the death and resurrection of Christ, we have the power to defeat Satan as long as we have faith and trust in God's Word. If God is for us, who can stand against us?
