In her role at Salinas Valley Medical Aesthetics in Salinas, California, Teresa combines art and medicine to help her patients look and feel their very best. She always focuses on beautiful and natural results! Teresa offers Botox®, Juvéderm®, laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation, and much more.
Teresa chose to specialize in the area of cosmetic dermatology because she has a genuine passion for helping patients look and feel great. Teresa also completes 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and takes a certification exam every six years to maintain board certification in the area of family practice. She maintains active memberships in the American Association of Physician Assistants, the California Association of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Teresa is highly experienced in the area of injectables like Botox, and for many years she was an injection trainer and regular speaker for Medicis Aesthetics.
In her free time, Teresa enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and dogs. She also loves cycling and other fitness activities in the beautiful Salinas area.
Rachel obtained her Master’s Degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 2018.
Prior to her enrollment in PA school, Rachel, her mother and sister had their own successful yoga studio where she was a yoga instructor for many years while studying biology and earning her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Bridgeport in 2014.
After moving to California with her husband she began her career as a surgical PA specializing in general, vascular and thoracic surgeries at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. Rachel has always been interested in cosmetic dermatology and considers a holistic approach while providing the best care for her patients.
She took the time to be trained in cosmetics by Teresa McMillin; mastering all the skills needed to achieve optimal results for her patients, such as Botox, Dysport and fillers, laser rejuvenation and hair removal treatments. She has also received professional certifications for Advanced Cannula Techniques and PDO Thread lifts.
She is passionate about creating a treatment plan with her patients to achieve natural results, while always keeping patient goals and satisfaction in mind. Outside of work she enjoys woodworking, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors with her dogs Bella and Bear.
