It is August so we have contract issues aka holdouts, hold ins and hourly Brandon Aiyuk updates, The unfortunate part of this business also reigned its ugly head and cost us the rookie season of former Michigan Star and Minnesota Vikings QB JJ McCarthy. #Wk1

Camps have opened! We have tackling, crowds and.... sadly... injuries. It was also a good week to be a QB seeking a 2nd contract as both the Packers and Dolphins extended their starters who are on rookie deals. 1st preseason game Thursday.... entire league plays next week..... #LFG

Rookies and veteran players are reporting to NFL training camps in various stages... yes, folks: Football is here! No more waiting-- we have practices, real news and games to follow. Hell, we might even have a resolution to the Brandon Aiyuk/49ers contract stalemate. All of this is good and warms my heart. #LFG

Teams have finished the OffSeason program /OTAs and we have some contract issues and other news as we approach Training camp. We have wide receiver drama--what else is new? Meanwhile, the gift that keeps giving (Aaron Rodgers) continues to provide content and antacid for Coach Robert Saleh.
