  • Healing, Wellness, Soul Ties & Destiny: Pt. 1
If you are trying to get beyond a past relationship, but just can't shake it or something is off in your new relationship, but you don't know what it is, you might be entangled in a soul tie. We get into it on this two-part episode, but before we talk soul ties, let's talk about being confused about your purpose or whether it's time to leave that place that isn't for you.

  • What I Did While I Waited to Date After Divorce
So the question came in after last week's episode, 'What did you do while you were waiting to date, emphasis on waiting?' Well, the truth is it wasn't what I thought it would be. I cried a lot. A lot. But I did some other things, too, and the things prepared me for the dating world again. Heck, it recovered me and prepared me for my new life. If I didn't endure the wait, I would have been lost, mentally and spiritually. Come on in the living room, Lifers. I'm being as real and transparent as I can be with this.

  • Getting Back on the Dating Scene After Divorce
The answer is yes, I'm dating. But it took me a while to get to the place where I was ready to jump back in the dating waters, like three years. I've been asked what I've learned so far or would I recommend it to someone with children. Again, the answer is YES with a BUT. Let's talk about the BUT in the living room. Tune-in. • Prioritize Yourself, Sis!
We often prioritize everything in the world, except ourselves. Don't let mom guilt kick-in, and don't even get me started on divorced mom guilt. Today, I'm taking control and prioritizing my purpose, whatever that looks like. From pursuing my purpose to dating, we talk about everything that deserves a priority. Come on in the living room and do life with us. Let's get real and raw with it for a minute.

  • Desires of an Independent Woman
My dad didn't want me to rely on a man for things that the "male" is traditionally known to do. My mom didn't want me to search for completeness in marriage or to have to have a man in my life. It made sense and served me well as an only child. But sometimes this divorced, mom-of-boys gets tired of being every woman, and this episode is about that time it wasn't all in me. God bless that child that's got her own, but we don't have to do life alone.

  • Say What Now?
There is nothing more sobering than when your kiddos throw your own words back in your face. Did I hypocrite or not?

  • This Mama is So Over Virtual Learning
Once again, I'm making one of the hardest decisions during the pandemic - whether or not to send my kiddos back to school and ditch the virtual learning. It's been a tough semester and I've struggled to keep these kiddos engaged, enthused and accountable, so the results are in. Hey parents, what are you doing in January?
