When Mohamed Mohamed-Ali returned to a quiet house in Newhaven, Essex on the afternoon of Friday 12 February 2016, he knew something was wrong. Fatima, his wife of 34 years, was nowhere to be seen and had left behind her keys, phone and handbag. Nearly six years have now passed, but a team of students, academics and former police officers at Leeds Beckett University have taken up the case to try to discover what happened on that day and in the years since.
