My podcast guest is Paula from the Talk Shit With P podcast. She is one of the most successful podcasters in the mental health podcast genre. She is also involved in many popular podcasting events including Podcast Movement and PodFest.
I met Paula at Podcast Movement 2024 and had fun comparing notes. I asked her if she wanted to appear on this podcast on the spur of the moment and she gladly and quickly accepted.
During my interview with Paula, I asked her what made her successful. I also had her explain how she achieved 20,000 downloads so quickly. Paula’s brand and her unique look not only makes her popular, but also a powerful brand. She is the expert in personal branding as a podcaster.
"Talk Shit With P" is your podcast where you dive into various topics with an unfiltered, bold, and lively style. The tone is likely conversational, direct, and fun, giving listeners a chance to hear authentic takes on different subjects.
Are there any particular themes or guests you focus on for the show, or would you like to add more details about its vibe?
We conclude the show with Bruce Chamoff’s single “Unicorn”

Speaking with Randell Moody of the American Dream podcast in CT, his business and entrepreneurial spirit with Lifewave, and his excellent hip hop music as artist Pryme Minister. We talked about my experiment to try to Waze my Amtrak ride home on Acela’s high speed locomotive and how Waze had a hard time keeping up with the high speed from the Amtrak train. I asked Randell about his most positive podcast guest, Panama Jill and how she prevailed after losing an eye, and how she kept going. Randell also discussed her free painting. Other subjects discussed, my friend Rich A from NJ and his amazing entrepreneurial spirit in his dumpster recycling business.
We also play some music including Pryme Minister Do The Billy (hip hop) and Bruce Chamoff Peppermint (pop).

About Lifewave
LifeWave is a wellness company founded in 2004 that offers a range of health products, primarily focusing on wearable patch technology. Their signature products are adhesive patches designed to stimulate acupuncture points on the body to improve health and wellness. The company claims that these patches, which do not deliver substances into the body, instead use phototherapy to enhance energy, reduce pain, improve sleep, and promote overall health.
The most popular LifeWave product is the X39 patch, which is said to activate stem cells to support healing and anti-aging. LifeWave promotes its products as a natural, non-invasive way to improve various aspects of health without the need for drugs or supplements.
LifeWave operates under a multi-level marketing (MLM) model, meaning its products are sold through independent distributors who can also recruit others into the business. This business model has garnered both supporters who praise the product benefits and critics who raise concerns about the MLM structure.
The company has expanded its reach globally and continues to attract users interested in alternative health solutions. However, the claims made by LifeWave have faced scrutiny, and potential users are encouraged to research and consult healthcare professionals before use.
LifeWave's rapid growth can be attributed to a combination of innovative products, strategic marketing, and a robust business model. Here are a few key factors:
Randell explains why Lifewave is the fastest growing company in the world…
1. **Unique Product Offering**: LifeWave specializes in wearable patches that utilize phototherapy. The flagship X39 patch claims to activate stem cells and promote various health benefits without drugs or chemicals, appealing to those seeking alternative health solutions.
2. **Global Appeal**: LifeWave has successfully expanded into international markets, tapping into the growing interest in wellness and biohacking worldwide. Its products resonate across cultures and age groups, driving global sales.
3. **Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Model**: The MLM structure allows LifeWave to rapidly scale by empowering individual distributors to market the products and recruit others. This network effect leads to exponential growth as more people join as sellers and consumers.
4. **Health and Wellness Trend**: LifeWave is aligned with the booming health and wellness industry, which is projected to continue growing. The pandemic also heightened interest in immune health, anti-aging, and non-invasive treatments, all of which LifeWave products claim to address.
5. **Customer Testimonials and Word-of-Mouth**: LifeWave’s success is bolstered by glowing testimonials and strong community engagement. Positive word-of-mouth and success stories are highly effective in an industry built on trust and personal experience.
