Becoming Chiron

Episode 19 of Becoming Chiron is all about the Spring Equinox, ALL the huge shifts and energies of this week and Chiron in the seventh house of one's natal chart.

The Astro Weather Check: This is a BIG week Astrologically! I recorded this episode today, just before the Spring Equinox (or the Sun's shift into the sign of Aries) and as the Moon is waning through Pisces on its way to newness in Aries tomorrow, Tuesday, 3/21 (1:22 pm EDT). I discuss the energy of the Aries Point, 0 degrees of Aries, Mercury, Jupiter and Chiron all in Aries and the overall vibe of Aries energy. I read the descriptions of all the channeled symbols for the Aries Point in the zodiac, which offers rich content and deeper meaning to the feel of the Equinox/New Moon. Pluto dips its toe (or tail) into Aquarius on Thursday, which a big deal shift. No one alive at this time has experienced Pluto in Aquarius; the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was in 1777! Pluto will dance back and forth between Aquarius and Capricorn over the next year, so this week will be a taste of what this transit will mean and how it will show up for us collectively and individually. Pluto in Capricorn began and is now ending with financial and banking system conflicts, which is very interesting. Mars also finally shifts out of Gemini into Cancer at the end of this week on Saturday.

Awareness around the current energies, any natal planets you may have in the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo and/or Aquarius), and where the New Moon, Pluto shift and Mars shift are happening for you in your own chart offers many opportunities for reflection and working with all this new energy.

Episode 18 of Becoming Chiron is all about Chiron in the sixth house of one's natal chart. I share my own perceptions and meanings of the sixth house from my own experiences and in reading birth charts; the sixth house is an important space me since it's where my natal Saturn, Sun and Pluto reside, and another one of my stelliums. I read the passage about Chiron in the sixth house from Barbara Hand Clow's book Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner & Outer Planets, as well as the information for the sixth house card in the Black Moon Astrology Cards oracle deck.

The Astro Weather Check: Tomorrow's a big day! I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waxing through Virgo on its way to fullness in Virgo early Tuesday, 3/7 (7:40 am EST). I discuss the energy of this Virgo Full Moon, the Virgo/Pisces zodiac axis, Jupiter/Chiron and Venus together in Aries and the challenging energy of Mars squaring the Full Moon in addition to squaring the planet Neptune and the Sun. Saturn shifts into Pisces tomorrow, which a big deal shift, about an hour after the Full Moon. The last time Saturn was in Pisces was in the early 90s!

Awareness around the current energies, any natal planets you may have in the mutable signs (Virgo, Sagittarius and/or Pisces), and where the Saturn shift is happening for you in your own chart offers many opportunities for reflection and working with all the shifts.

Season 2, Episode 7 of Becoming Chiron is all about Chiron in the fifth house of one's natal chart. I share my own perceptions and meanings of the fifth house from my own experiences and in reading birth charts; the fifth house is an important space me since it's where my natal Venus, Moon and Jupiter reside, and one of my stelliums. I read the passage about Chiron in the fifth house from Barbara Hand Clow's book Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner & Outer Planets, as well as the information for the fifth house card in the Black Moon Astrology Cards oracle deck.

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waning through Aquarius on its way to newness in Pisces early Monday, 2/20 (2:06 am EST). I discuss the harmonious, beautiful energy of this Pisces New Moon, suggestions for any intentions or ceremony in this energy and the one challenging aspect of Mercury in Aquarius squaring Uranus in Taurus. Pisces energy is ultimately about transcendence and one of my favorite movies that characterizes Pisces is The Shape of Water.

Awareness around the current energies and the New Moon is extra potent if you know where all this is happening in your own natal chart!

Season 2, Episode 6 of Becoming Chiron is all about Chiron in the fourth house of one's natal chart. I share my own perceptions and meanings of the fourth house from my own experiences and in reading birth charts; the fourth house space is an area of growth for me since that's my North Node placement. I read the passage about Chiron in the fourth house from Barbara Hand Clow's book Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner & Outer Planets, as well as the information for the fourth house card in the Black Moon Astrology Cards oracle deck.

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waxing through Cancer on its way to fullness in Leo on Sunday, 2/5 (1:27 pm EST). I discuss the exciting energy of Sunday's Full Moon, the T-square aspect to Uranus, the current Venus/Mars square and some supportive energy we can all tap into during this time of intensity and release. I also cover the channeled imagery/symbols for the degree of the Full Moon (17 degrees of Leo for the imagery). Another point of reflection right now is being in the post-retrograde shadow periods for both Mars and Mercury. What is coming up for integration now that the retrogrades are over? I touch on some themes I'm observing personally and collectively as well.

Awareness around the current energies and the Full Moon is extra potent if you know where all this is happening in your own natal chart!

Season 2, Episode 5 of Becoming Chiron is all about Chiron in the third house of one's natal chart. I share my own perceptions and meanings of the third house from my own experiences and in reading birth charts. I read the passage about Chiron in the third house from Barbara Hand Clow's book Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner & Outer Planets, as well as the information for the third house card in the Black Moon Astrology Cards oracle deck.

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waning through Capricorn on its way to newness tomorrow (Saturday, 1/21). I discuss the ending of the concurrent Mars (Mars in Gemini) and Mercury (Mercury in Capricorn) retrogrades that has heavily influenced the energy of this new calendar year so far, as well as the yod energetic flow/aspect between the stationing Mars and Mercury (8 degrees of Capricorn) and the South Node of the Moon. I describe the vibe of Aquarius, the shift of the Sun into Aquarius last night and the upcoming New Moon in Aquarius tomorrow, all steeped in Pluto's energy. I also cover the channeled imagery/symbols for the degree of tomorrow's New Moon (2 degrees of Aquarius).

The current astro weather is charged with new energy, forward momentum and opportunities to dream and dare big, and bring your dreams into fruition, especially if you know where all this is happening in your own natal chart!

I read the passage about Chiron in the second house from Barbara Hand Clow's book Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner & Outer Planets, as well as the information for the second house card in the Black Moon Astrology Cards oracle deck.

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waxing through Gemini on its way to fullness on Friday. I discuss the current Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn and how to work with Mercury Retrogrades, especially what could be coming up at this part of the cycle. A new Mercury cycle (cazimi) begins on Saturday (1/7) and I discuss how to work with that as well. I also discuss the energy of the upcoming Full Moon in Cancer on Friday (1/6) and the T-square aspect to Chiron. Season 2, Episode 3 of Becoming Chiron is all about Chiron in the first house of one's natal chart, and is Part 3 of this 3-part introductory series to Season 2. I revisit my intentions behind creating Becoming Chiron and highly recommend listening to all episodes from the beginning since everything I've shared is all about my own natal placement of Chiron in the first house! I begin reading passages from Barbara Hand Clow's book Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner & Outer Planets in this episode. I also pull a card from Rebecca Campbell's Work Your Light Oracle Deck.

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waning through Scorpio. I discuss the current energies and planetary shifts, Jupiter's ingress into Aries, tomorrow's Solstice/the Sun's ingress into Capricorn, and the energy of starting off the season under this square between Jupiter and the Sun, as well as the Moon during Friday's upcoming New Moon in Capricorn. We will also close out 2022 with another Mercury Retrograde. The astro weather is full of opportunities, especially if you know where all this is happening in your own natal chart.

Remember to BE A MAVERICK!

Season 2, Episode 2 of Becoming Chiron is all about my personal healing journey with food, and is Part 2 of this 3-part introductory series to Season 2. I discuss my life-long struggle with shame around food and my body type and how my Father's health challenge was a catalyst for me to dive deep into learning about food, ingredients, deconditioning around the "Food Pyramid" and viewing food as a resource and healing modality. I cover a variety of resources that have helped me along the way, such as The South Beach Diet, You on a Diet and Skinny Bitch. It's been over 15 years since I began reading ingredients on food labels and packaging, and learning about and integrating what to avoid, and my life and health have improved dramatically since then, even resolving some of the health challenges I discussed in Season 2, Episode 1.

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waxing through Taurus, just before tomorrow's INTENSE Taurus Full Moon/Total Lunar Eclipse. I discuss the current energies and what's contributing to the intensity of tomorrow's eclipse. I also pulled the Lunar Eclipse card from my Dark Moon Astrology Cards deck for more insight and guidance for everyone at this time.

Welcome to Season 2!

Season 2 of Becoming Chiron begins with an introductory 3-part series in which I'm going to share my personal stories and experiences, and the general meaning, of Chiron in the first house of the natal chart and Chiron in Taurus. This episode is Part 1, and is all about the many dis-eases and health challenges I've experienced throughout my life, from being hospitalized with chicken pox at age 4, to debilitating migraines, to a Heart Chakra opening that felt like a heart attack and many, many more. Each experience and condition has taught me something about my body, healing and the importance of both "Western" and "Eastern" medicine. I pull a card from Rebecca Campbell's Work Your Light Oracle Deck as well.

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waning through Leo, just after the last quarter square phase. I discuss current transits including the Saturn/Uranus square, the Mars/Neptune square, the upcoming Mars Retrograde, eclipse season and the upcoming Venus Star Point in Libra.

This episode is about the Chiron Return, which happens for everyone around age 50. All of the stories and experiences I've shared up to this point have been from my own personal journey. I have not yet experienced my own Chiron Return, but have worked with and know many, many people who have. If you were born between 1968 - 1977, you were born with Chiron in Aries, and you have recently experienced, are experiencing, or will experience your Chiron Return very soon. I read parts from Barbara Hand Clow's book Chiron - Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner and Outer Planets, the Chiron card from the Black Moon Astrology Card deck, and share about things that can happen during one's Chiron Return. This episode is the final episode of Season 1!

The Astro Weather Check: I recorded this episode today, as the Moon is waning through Cancer, approaching the Balsamic phase. I discuss current transits, including the current Mercury Retrograde, the upcoming Autumnal Equinox on Tuesday, 9/22 (here in the Northern Hemisphere) and how the inner planets, Mercury, Venus and Mars are infusing with the Sun right now and different parts of their cycles.

Links are below for my services; if you're experiencing your Chiron Return and would like guidance, I'd be honored to work with you! I also included the link to register for my new Aromatherapy workshop series, The Beauty and Basics of Aromatherapy at Island Therapy in Somers Point, NJ, which begins next week on Tuesday, 9/27; only 3 spots are left!
