Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Being followers of Christ, are we really living by the command to deny ourselves, taking up our cross, and following Him? Are we really doing these three things, or are we just claiming to believe in Jesus with our mouth but not really following Him as He requested?

In this video I share the conviction that came from hearing this scripture at a conference. In full transparency I share how Holy Spirit used Matthew 16:24​ to put me on the path He wants me on.

Simply put... what's God's vision for your life? Have you taken the time to ask Him?

Have you sought after Him for His purpose for your life?

I share my experience in full transparency. What happens when you allow yourself to reach a point of being content. The dangers, stagnation, and how your walk with God begins to go from a steady walk to a slow crawl, or even stop.

Frequently, we find ourselves lacking the necessary guidance in the art of handling these complex entities known as emotions. Most of the time, we are impulsive and live a "because I feel like it" life. Imagine the possibilities if we detach ourselves from the influence of our emotions and regain control over our existence. What untapped potential lies ahead if we not only cultivate a sense of self-mastery but also embrace a heightened state of consciousness?

There comes a time when we have to get in the locker room and discuss our performance. When evaluating, we must find the flaws and strategize to execute a game-winning drive.

What is it that's hindering your performance? Why aren't you covering your position? What has you stuck from making the decisive move that could shift the game's trajectory? What's stopping you from getting into the game?

Who are the people in your corner? Who are the friends that come and go throughout the years? How do you properly assess those that are actually for you versus the ones against you? Throughout the years, we've encountered countless shifts in our relationships. Some friends have stayed for years, while some only for several weeks. Each of us has a community of people that make up our inner circle. Today, I want to challenge you to evaluate them. Are they really for you? Do they have the language to guide you to your next place in life? Or are they someone hindering you from what God wants to do in your life?

Isn't it so much easier to quit? Isn't it so much easier to give in to temptations? What about those hidden desires that we thought were once gone? Or even the opportunities that once were our residence during challenging times? What do you do when all those things from your past come knocking on your door? How do we handle it? It's much easier to return to what's familiar than to journey into the unknown. When God has a promise waiting for you, do you forsake what's on the way for what's easier to obtain now? Prayerfully, the week I had would bring language to how we feel about taking the easy way out.

The mind is a battleground too often forfeited. It can be the epicenter of a lot of traffic. That traffic can include but is not limited to trauma, pain, personal desires, evil spirits, and even God. The issue we face is how we navigate through so much at once. How do we find peace in what our mind autoplays every day? Where is the solution to having a sound mind? If you have faith, that won't always be the case! This podcast is the answer you need to those questions.
