A powerful, insightful and vulnerable conversation with Kristina, the executive director of Detroit Dog Rescue. She is the definition of heart & hustle. She is fiery, driven, tough and an incredibly inspiring human. Did you know she learned both her street smarts and her marketing savvy selling CD's on the streets of the D? Did you know she found her way into this role by being a teenage battle-rapper in the 90's? I mean seriously?! No wonder she is so cool.
Seriously, Kristina shares her huge heart, her drive, her challenging upbringing, her absolute dedication to following her soul's path. Her personal story of overcoming, of rising is so powerful and her innate resilience left me in awe.
If you haven't heard of DDR yet, you are the minority. She is changing the face of non-profit animal rescues. She and her incredible team of humans run the only no-kill shelter in the city. Her mission not only to SAVE ALL THE DOGS but even more to help educate & support dog owners in Detroit who need her help.
As you head over to her website, donate to her incredible FOREVER FOSTER program.
Follow her on all social media platforms, you won't regret it.

I am an expert worrier. I have refined this skill over the past 38 years. I was an incredibly anxious child from the time I was very very small. In an effort to survive the overwhelming energy of the world I learned to cope. I adapted to various styles of numbing, controlling and protecting.
What we are now beginning to understand about neuroscience and quantum physics means that it is even more important than we realized to break these bad habits. We are truly in charge of our own destiny in so many ways. It is up to YOU to decided you are ready to create change, to break the habits, to end the cycle.
I am in the work. Are you?

Lynn is a Psychic Medium born with clairvoyant, clairaudient and precognitive abilities. She first became aware of this gift at age five. As she grew older her abilities developed, receiving messages from the Other Side, first from family members who’d passed and then messages from loved ones of people around her. Lynn describes this gift of guidance from Spirit as “Second Sight.”
Lynn shares with me fascinating stories from her life that lead her to waking up to and fully embodying her gifts, her vehicle as she describes it.

Rachel has been working as a light-worker now for many years, but the journey to get here did not prove to be easy. This conversation is inspiring, eye-opening and perhaps even challenging to the way you see the world.
Our chatting spans the gamete on what it is to be human and spiritual. You will learn of some of the manymilestones in Rachel's life that woke her up to her own divine purpose, the work she does now to support others doing the same as well as deep conversations on what it is to be human, awake, intuitive and so much more.
This is likely the first of many conversations and I can't wait to hear what you think about it.
Rachel is not only a light-worker, she is also a poet and a writer. You can learn more about her through the pages of her book "The Post Jerusalem Girl" found here: https://www.amazon.com/Post-Jerusalem-Girl-LOR/dp/1543905757
"Post Jerusalem-Girl is a story, written in poems, of coming out of the darkness to walk in my own light. It is then that I realized that all the colors and shades of my rainbow are beautiful, and that the pain is my greatest ally."
All proceeds from her book go to support local animal shelters.
To schedule a personal reading with Rachel you can connect with her by email: [email protected]

This is a must listen! Meet Brenda Freeman, a vivacious badass woman who is changing the world one pelvic floor at a time. You may think this is overreaching but as she has discovered in her pilates teaching, a woman and her pelvic floor carry a heavy emotional, spiritual and sexual load.
Brenda shares on how her own birthing experiences led her to pilates which took her on an unusual journey towards becoming a Somatic Sex Educator. She has created her own special class called "Pussy Pilates", it is specifically designed for those with vulvas, to rehab, reshape and renew our relationship to ourselves. She is a highly respected pilates instructor, a teacher's teacher and all around fascinating woman.
To be clear, this story and her work is not just for women, she has helped many men as well. So gentlemen, don't pass this one up!

Mike Croy is a principal at school created specifically to support the needs of teens who are emotionally impaired, "EI" kids. The journey it took to get him here involved several twists and turns and a less than perfect childhood. His mother left his family with a "Dear John" letter when he was 11 and change and instability was his only constant growing up. His dad really rose to the occasion and Mike found his way into a love of running.
Throughout his journey he was drawn to the misfits, the fringers, the outliers and this ultimately led him to the work he does now.
My favorite part of his story comes in Part 2 where he incorporated his love of yoga into his daily life and beyond. Mike not only talks the talk but he walks the walk and continues to find ways to gift yoga to the typically underserved populations.
You tell in this interview Mike is a pretty cerebral guy, he is thoughtful and contemplative and took the breadcrumb analogy to the max. Perhaps you will be able to look back at your own life and find the crumbs that are leading you to a soulful, meaningful life.
Here is the ACEs test we spoke of: Adverse Childhood Experiences.

There have been many conversations in the world of religion, spirituality, philosophy and psychology around the notion of the ego. I recently saw a post on social media that said "The Ego is Evil"... and while I understand how and why we might jump to that conclusion, the ego often gets a bad wrap.
The ego is necessary in this human experience, otherwise embodiment would not be feasible. So, the question becomes how much do we give in to the whims of the ego and are we able to access the wisdom and inherent worthiness found in the soul?

Steve Frank is an incredible human. I knew it the first time I met him. He has a way about him that makes you instantly feel supported, seen and capable. Steve is an avid cycler and his love for cycling eventually led him to find a career that feeds his soul.
Steve had an unconventional upbringing as the child of a Rabbi and spitfire of a mother which shaped his life but not in the ways you'd assume. You will love listening to his story and be inspired by the life he has created for himself now.
