We need more MUAs to be educator and confident ones at that! In this episode I talk about what it was like for me to transition from servicing clients to serving my students.
1. Being an educator gives you a new super power of encouraging other makeup artist and being a force in their MUA journey.
2. Education allows you to rest your feet and get from "behind the chair".
3. Be ready for your pivot; it's going to hit fast but as long as you're ready.. you're gucci!
4. Write down a plan for at least 6 months.
5. Write down your process and consider explaining why you do certain things in order make teaching easier.
6. Provide value for your audience.
7. Invest in your community.
