Dr. Kennedy was trained as a physician and neuroscientist, but found the medical field's answers to anxiety lacking. So he left and developed his own program using meditation and somatic techniques to reach the root of the problem. He also published and sold over 59,000 copies of his book "Anxiety RX."

In this episode I finally talk in depth about the meaning behind the name of the podcast "becoming who we are." I talk about my thought process behind some of the things I believe theologically, but recognize that understanding is a journey and in no way do I have everything figured out. Most importantly, I talk about what these beliefs mean to me practically and how they've helped me grow.
