Featuring Summer Reign | BEcoming with Coach Angie BE
What happens when you finally have the freedom to ask yourself:
Who am I… when no one else gets to decide for me?
On this episode of BEcoming with Coach Angie BE, Coach Angie sits down with Summer Reign, Vice President of The Exodus Group, for a deeply personal conversation about leaving the Jehovah’s Witness organization, experiencing shunning, rebuilding your identity, and learning how to create a life that belongs to YOU.
We talk about the BE-ending—the losses, relationships, beliefs, expectations, and version of yourself that can change when you leave a high-control religion.
But we don't stop at what was lost.
We talk about the BEginning.
✨ Discovering who you really are
✨ Unlearning fear, obligation, guilt, and old rules
✨ Learning to trust your own choices
✨ Creating new relationships and belonging
✨ Finding your voice
✨ And learning how to shine after being shunned
Summer also shares how her own journey led her to become part of The Exodus Group, where she now helps support others who are navigating life after leaving.
Because getting out can be one chapter.
Learning who you are when you're finally free to choose—that's the BEcoming.
Whether you've left a high-control religion, experienced rejection from people you love, lost a community, or simply find yourself rebuilding after a major life change, this conversation is a reminder:
Your story does not end where they stopped accepting you.
You still get to discover yourself.
You still get to build community.
You still get to choose joy.
And Bestie… you still get to BEcome. 💜
The BE-ending is what happened.
The BEginning is your choice.
The BEcoming is your journey.
Bestie… just keep BEcoming.

🎙️ BEcoming Reconnected With Your Heart
Featuring Dr. Sharon Reid — “Thee Heart Lady”When was the last time you really listened to your heart—not just your responsibilities, your fears, other people’s expectations, or what you thought you should do?
On this episode of BEcoming with Coach Angie BE, Coach Angie sits down with Dr. Sharon Reid, “Thee Heart Lady,” whose work focuses on emotional and relationship healing. (Heal.me)
Together, we explore what it means to reconnect with your heart after life experiences have taught you to protect it, ignore it, or put everyone else’s needs before your own.
This is a conversation about relationships, emotional healing, self-love, boundaries, forgiveness, and learning to hear yourself again. We talk about the difference between protecting your heart and closing it, what our relationships can teach us about ourselves, and why healing doesn't necessarily mean becoming who you used to be.
Sometimes your BE-ending changes you.
But your next chapter isn't necessarily about going backward and finding the old you. It may be about getting quiet enough to ask:
What does my heart need now?
What do I believe now?
What do I want now?
And who am I BEcoming now?
Because reconnecting with your heart isn't just about love and relationships with other people.
It's about rebuilding the relationship you have with YOU.
💜 The BE-ending is what happened.
🌱 The BEginning is your choice.
✨ The BEcoming is your journey.
Bestie… just keep BEcoming.
What happens when men are permitted to take off the armor, acknowledge what they’re carrying, and recognize the power within?
On this episode of BEcoming with Coach Angie BE, Coach Angie sits down with Dr. Jerome Maultsby for an important conversation about men’s mental health, emotional wellness, personal growth, and the strength it takes to heal.
We’re talking about the pressures men carry, the expectations surrounding masculinity, the importance of emotional awareness, and what can happen when a man begins defining strength for himself.
Because strength isn’t only about how much you can carry. Sometimes strength is recognizing what you no longer need to carry.
🌱 The BE-ending is what happened.
💛 The BEginning is your choice.
💜 The BEcoming is your journey.
Bestie… just keep BEcoming.

What happens to our creativity when we grow up? Somewhere between responsibilities, expectations, work, relationships, and simply trying to survive, many of us stop making time for the part of ourselves that wants to play, imagine, explore, and create.

On this episode of BEcoming with Coach Angie BE, Coach Angie sits down with Triniity, the creative force behind Mystiq Alignments, for a conversation about reconnecting with creativity, caring for your inner child, and allowing yourself to rediscover the things that make you feel alive.
Triniity’s work through Mystiq Alignments centers on what she describes as “holistic alchemy for sacred evolution,” with offerings and tools designed around self-discovery, alignment, connection, and personal evolution. (Mystiq Alignments)
Together, Angie and Trinity explore a different side of wellness: What if creativity is part of taking care of yourself?
They talk about giving your younger self permission to come back out and play, creating without needing everything to be productive or perfect, discovering who you are underneath expectations, and making room for curiosity as an adult.
Because BEcoming isn't always about fixing something.
Sometimes BEcoming is remembering something—the artist, dreamer, dancer, writer, weird little creative kid, or beautifully curious person you may have tucked away along the way. 💜
The BE-ending is what happened.
The BEginning is your choice.
The BEcoming is your journey.

THE GREAT EXCAPE — MORE THAN A RACE. A JOURNEY TOWARD FREEDOM. 🏃🏾♀️🌱
*The Great eXcape*, presented by The Exodus Group, is more than a 5K—it’s a celebration of courage, community, healing, and the freedom to build a life that belongs to you.
The Exodus Group is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals transitioning out of high-control religions and organizations. Leaving can mean much more than changing what you believe. For some, it can mean rebuilding relationships, finding housing, creating a new support system, discovering who you are outside of the organization, and learning how to make choices for yourself again.
That’s why we created The Great eXcape.
Throughout October 2026, participants from anywhere can join our Virtual Great eXcape Challenge, moving at their own pace and in their own way. Then, on October 31, 2026, our community will come together at Arabia Mountain, Georgia, for the in-person Great eXcape 5K.
You don’t have to be a runner. Walk it. Run it. Move at your pace. Every step can represent something different: reclaiming your voice, choosing yourself, honoring how far you’ve come, supporting someone rebuilding their life—or simply standing beside a community that believes everyone deserves the freedom to determine their own future.
Proceeds from The Great eXcape help The Exodus Group continue providing practical assistance, community support, emergency housing resources, celebrations and meetups, educational programming, and other services for people rebuilding their lives after high-control experiences.
The Great eXcape is not about running away from your past. It’s about moving toward your future.
Come move with us. Come celebrate with us. Come support someone taking their next step toward freedom.

What happens when the person who spends their life pouring into everyone else finally decides to pour back into themselves?
On this episode of BEcoming with Coach Angie BE, we’re sitting down with J.L. Waters, educator, author, mentor, and CEO of Oasis Educational Services. J.L. is passionate about helping educators move beyond burnout and discover how to thrive—not only in the classroom, but in their lives. Her work focuses on helping educators integrate self-care, wellness, purpose, and professional excellence instead of sacrificing themselves for the work they love.
We’ll talk about her book, Becoming the Whole Educator, and what it really means to become whole when your career constantly asks you to give more. We’ll explore burnout, boundaries, identity, self-care, purpose, and the pressure many educators feel to keep showing up even when they are running on empty. J.L. will also share how educators can begin caring for their spirit, soul, and body while continuing to make an impact in the lives of others.
But Bestie, this conversation isn't just for teachers.
If you've ever been the caregiver, the leader, the strong friend, the business owner, the parent—or simply the person everybody depends on—this conversation is for you.
Because sometimes BEcoming isn't about doing more.
Sometimes it's about asking:
Who am I outside of everything I do for everybody else?
Join Coach Angie BE and J.L. Waters for a real conversation about **burnout, balance, wellness, purpose, and BEcoming whole—inside and out.

What if the reason you keep stalling on your goals is not a lack of discipline, but a body and mind asking to be heard? Coach Angie B opens Becoming with a powerful truth for anyone stuck at the edge of change: you do not need to have it all figured out to begin.
As a transformational wellness coach, personal trainer, and religious trauma educator, Angie B brings 20+ years of experience to the table, along with a deeply personal story of surviving high-control systems, healing from trauma, and building a life rooted in self-trust. She shows why true transformation starts with the next step, not the perfect plan.
You'll discover why weight can be a form of protection, how emotional stress shows up physically, and why many people sabotage progress when they feel unseen or unsafe. Angie B breaks down her philosophy of listening to your body, releasing weight instead of "losing" it, and using small habits like water, vegetables, movement, and mindset shifts to create real momentum.
We also hear how her businesses, Radiate Naturally and The Exodus Group, grew out of lived experience, and how her programs are designed to help people heal, rebuild, and reconnect with their bodies. From her 7-month Rooted in Radiance intensive to the 14-day Spark program, Angie BE shares practical tools for people ready to stop fighting themselves and start becoming.
If you need encouragement to start scared, start small, and keep going anyway, this episode meets you right there. Essential listening for anyone craving healing, self-love, and a more compassionate path to transformation.
