  • 4. You are not enough

I think we have all heard it said, Chanted, screamed from the rooftops: “You are enough!” its a phrase that feels good in the moment, but can actually rationalize some unhealthy thought patterns and put pride between you and others, and you and the Lord. Today let's dive into why, as Christians becoming more like Christ daily, means growing towards acknowledging our weaknesses, shame, guilt, sin (etc…). And how being in coversation with Christ about these things will provide us much more freedom by allowing christ to enter those areas than simply chanting "I am enough” and hoping one day that sentiment becomes true.

  • 3. Taking God off auto pilot

The question Jesus asks at Bethesda is the same one we still avoid: Do you want to get well? In this devotional on John 5:1–9, we explore why that question is more confronting than comforting—and why the man at the pool may be more like us than we want to admit. Through the story of a man disabled for 38 years, Elly reflects on how Jesus sees people in their pain and connects the Bethesda story to Hagar’s encounter with Adonai El Roi, the God who sees. Along the way, she considers how fear and excuses can keep us stuck, and why healing can mean taking God off autopilot and boldly trusting him to see us through every opportunity.

  • 2. Allowing the heavy moments to be light

What does it mean that Jesus’ yoke is easy and His burden is light when life still feels heavy? In this episode, we explore Matthew 11 and the way Jesus offers rest—not by removing every hardship, but by inviting us to carry it with Him.

Together, we'll reflect on praise, softened hearts, being known by God, and how discipleship and community can help lighten the load. If you’re feeling weary or overwhelmed, this is an invitation to find rest in Jesus and remember you don’t have to walk alone.

  • 1. Who are you Becoming?

What if you could be as close to Jesus as possible on this earth? Who would you be? What would you be like? And how would the people around you experience you?

In our very first episode of Becoming, we’re asking the big question: Who has God created you to be—and how do you bridge the gap between who you are today and who you’re becoming?

Because becoming more like Jesus isn’t just about knowing more, doing more, or trying harder. It’s about letting Him shape the person you’re becoming—little by little, day by day.

So let’s stop putting off the person God is inviting us to become. Let’s not waste another day being farther from Jesus than we have to be.

This is Becoming. And it starts here.
