Intro:“Men are more connected digitally than ever before… and yet more disconnected in real life. Studies show that male friendships have been cut in half in the last 30 years.
Today, many men can’t name one person they could call in a crisis. This isn’t just a social problem — it’s a spiritual one. And the Church has an answer.”
Key Scripture: Proverbs 27:17 – ‘As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.’
Main Points:
1. Jonathan & David: A model for deep, godly friendship. 2. The difference between activity friends and accountability friends. 3. How brotherhood strengthens faith and resilience. Challenge: Invite a friend to coffee or lunch with the goal of deeper conversation.

Intro: “Men are more connected digitally than ever before… and yet more disconnected in real life. Studies show that male friendships have been cut in half in the last 30 years. Today, many men can’t name one person they could call in a crisis. This isn’t just a social problem — it’s a spiritual one. And the Church has an answer.”
Biblical Foundation: Genesis 2:18 – “The Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone.’”
God said these words before sin entered the world. This means that loneliness is not part of God’s design — even in a perfect garden, Adam needed companionship. If it wasn’t good for Adam to be alone, it’s not good for us either.
Main Points:
Practical Step: This week, pray and ask God to put one man on your heart who might be lonely. Then, send him a simple message or invite him for coffee. Don’t wait for him to reach out — you be the one to step in.
Closing Prayer & Challenge: “Lord, You set the lonely in families. Forgive us for ignoring those who feel unseen. Open our eyes to the men in our lives who need connection. Give us the courage to reach out and be the friend we wish we had. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Challenge: Don’t just think about connection — act on it. By next Sunday, have at least one intentional conversation with a man you suspect may be lonely.

I have a virtual friend, his name is Cliff Ravenscraft (https://www.cliffravenscraft.com). He’s been my virtual mentor for the last 10 years. I’ve never met Cliff, never spoken to him, we emailed once, but I feel like I know him.
Recently, Cliff did a podcast episode about his financial reality, how he needs $20k/month to do his business and life, and currently has $2k/month in income. He has a full time family, business and life and a leaky roof. He said he’s taking money from his house to pay his bills.
AND YET, he has faith that moves mountains, he’s not worried. In fact he says “I have ZERO anxiety, I have an abundance of love, peace and joy”.

But this has been a spiritual lesson more than a physical one, here’s what I mean.
