On the previous episode , your hosts took a look at Trev's pick for the first part of the "Crime" section of the podcast: the 1984 film Fear City. Now, they're moving onto the second and final part of this series with Bede's choice. What he has picked, is a film that happens to also be one that has been described by some people as an early entry in the Blaxploitation sub-genre. What film is that, you ask? For this episode, Bede & Trev take a look at the 1972 crime film Across 110th Street starring Anthony Quinn & Yaphet Kotto and directed by Barry Shear (Wild In The Streets, The Todd Killings).
