This is a game that needs no introduction: the Red River Showdown. It's my favorite sporting event every year. There's nothing quite like it. This year both teams are in the Top 10, which makes it even more intriguing. Both teams feature star Heisman candidate QBs. Texas has a brash, bold, arrogant QB in Sam Ehlinger. He's built for this rivalry. OU has a QB who hates talking and doesn't seem excited by anything. It's a little different from when they had Baker Mayfield. Overall it was a good weekend for the Big 12, Iowa State losing to Iowa on a muffed punt notwithstanding.
