Jesus begins teaching the parables of the Kingdom. In today's sermon of our PLANTED series, Jesus tells the Parable of the Sower. The seed of his message is planted in the soil of our hearts so that we can flourish in His kingdom.

Is “Christmastime joy” a different kind of joy than the joy that I experience other times of the year? In today’s sermon, we are reminded that lasting joy is found in everlasting covenant with Jesus.

The Second Sunday of Advent is the Sunday of Peace. A Sunday to look at the promise of the prophets of a future peace, the cry of John the Baptist of an internal peace, and in todays sermon a hope in the Psalms of an eternal peace for all the earth. Psalm 85 paints the picture of the fulness of peace found in the work of a merciful, faithful, righteous God who desires peace for His people.
