BEDROCK PODCAST

We explore the structure of heavy metal albums, veer into punk rock territory, then stop for a bite to eat at Wahlburgers.

We talk about The Stuff

With Righteous Blood, Ruthless Blades about to be released, Jeremy and I answer some questions about our dark wuxia RPG.

Music by Pipa Playing Witch and the Black Cloud Cult

We talk about songs that killed the bands who wrote them (or at least seriously undermined their reputations as metal gods). We also discuss the death of Eddie Van Halen, and handle a few other topics.

We talk about Re-Animator, a 1985 film directed by Stuart Gordon, starring Jeffery Combs, about a medical student with an unrivaled need to re-animate dead tissue.

We talk about the 1989 movie Puppet Master.

We talk about how elements of Chor Yuen's Death Duel influenced our upcoming wuxia RPG Righteous Blood, Ruthless Blades. We talk about Destiny Paths, rebelling against the orthodox and how all of our characters are like coins with two sides.

Podcast these song "Righteous Blood" composed and performed  by Pipa-Playing Witch.

We talk about The Lair of the White Worm, a 1988 film about an ancient Roman snake cult unearthed in Derbyshire England. It is directed by Ken Russell, and stars Hugh Grant, Peter Capaldi and Amanda Donohoe.

Music by Psychedelic Reptile Johann Sebastian Bach.

We talk about Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). We apologize for the sound quality after the forty minute mark (something caused tremendous echo, which we attempted to fix but the solution, which was imperfect, affected the volume consistency).

We discuss the original Halloween.
