Then we talk about one of the most famous Hollywood turned Wrestler stories and look at Andy Kaufman and the posthumous documentary about his reign as intergender wrestling champion in I'm From Hollywood.

We discuss the latest from extravagant (some would say excessive and unnecessary) filmmaker Christopher Nolan. That film is Tenet. Then we dig deeper into his career to discuss his debut feature Following.

In this episode, we tackle more new releases that are topping all the best of 2020 lists. In this case, we tackle parts one and two of director Steve McQueen's Anthology Series Small Axe, beginning with "Mangrove" and moving forward to the floor stomping "Lovers Rock". In this episode, we continue our dive into the best films of 2020, especially ones that we missed or were not able to see in theaters (i.e. every movie that was released in 2020). First, we talk about Miranda July's film Kajillionaire. Then, we talk about that David Byrne x Spike Lee collaborative project American Utopia which is a concert film showing the broadway adaptation of the tour of the same name from a few years prior.

In this episode, we close out the year by catching up on a few films that are making the best 2020 lists across the internet. Tempers flared the night of December 20th as the guys came ill-prepared for the recording session. Joe stormed out, David retreated, and Carlos was left scrambling, trying to piece together scraps of old episodes to have something that resembles and episode to post! To make matters worse, strange and ominous audio clips appeared in Carlos' recording sessions. Foreboding messages of past...present...and future!!!

In this episode, we're doing TWO new releases, that's right TWO. We've been seeing all the Best Movies Of 2020 lists and realized we have some big holes in our viewing for this year that we need to fill. So we decided to go with two that have caught our attention and have been populating our social media feeds. The first being Sound Of Metal where we break down all the things they got right and wrong about being in a metal band. The second if the very ~meta~ film about filmmakers and how they feel about film (question mark) Black Bear starring Aubrey Plaza.
