Chris and Neil hit the part where the Bible says don't get angry at people, which is a little hypocritical considering Jesus gets mad one time and throws tables and chases people with whips. . .

Neil goes without notes throwing down some info on the an another part of the introduction to the sermon on the mount, covering Jesus's statement that he has "not come to abolish the Law", and Chris discusses a work-form-home-plan that is almost legitimate.

We continue in the introduction of the Sermon of the mount, where we discuss salted babes, seas, and morons.

We cover a section where Jesus tells his disciples to be salt and light to the world, which is kind of weird to tell some one to be salty or to be light, but its not like Jesus has a reputation for being straight forward.

Back into more Jesus talk as we work our way through the book of Matthew. We wrap up the "beatitudes" before moving forward but not with out talking about purity rings, cults, and a few Hebrew words.

Get ready for some free-form discussions of ridiculous proportions with some Bible in there for good measure.

Alright, we need to meet two more of Jesus's disciples and start getting into Jesus doing his magic healing tricks, and start getting ready for our first big section of teachings.

So why not skip to the teachings? Because we're not here for the highlight reel of Jesus, we're here to find out what the author is trying to say, and it's hard to figure out what they meant in their whole book by skipping what they thought was important enough to spend ink and paper writing - generally, if you know people are going to be writing this by hand over and over again, you don't waste words. So, if they're important to Mat, they're important to us.

Plus, with us, we'll pull some weird information and drunk commentary out of any verse.

Alright, time to start collecting some disciples for Jesus's crew. . . We'll talk about Peter and Andrew, and we get into some linguistics, and as always we're probably more entertaining than educational.
