It's the last book of Season 2!! Oryx and Crake finishing off our quarantine season is pretty fitting in the worst of ways. We dive into this dystopian novel that has an uncomfortable amount of similarities to 2020. Halfway through we're trying to work through the quote on the front of our copies saying that Atwood does Orwell one better(?). We still have half the book to go to find out. Two more episodes to go before we close out this year for good.

With two days to go before Halloween, we got in our last episode on The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. We got an underworld ball, witchy transformations, and continued hijinx from a boisterous black cat. What's more Halloween than this piece of Soviet criticism?
