In this little bonus episode, Joel tested out some new gear at the preview tapping event for three of Abnormal Beer Co’s forthcoming bottle releases. Several familiar voices weighed in with their thoughts on the new beers.

Cafe Dino – An Imperial Milk Porter with Cinnamon, Espresso, & Blood Orange. Brewed for the 3rd Anniversary of Native Son Alehouse in Downtown Santa Ana, CA.
Makaveli – An Imperial stout made in collaboration with Mostra Coffee, with coconut, vanilla beans, and of course… coffee!
| COLLABORATION | A few months back we started talks with the @9fivers crew about possibly combining our talents and working together. Early next week we will be releasing our collaboration set that includes a custom pair of sunglasses, a custom beer glass and a bottle of “95 ‘Til Infinity” our first barrel aged release which was a 11% Imperial Stout aged in Rye Whiskey barrels for one year then treated with cacao nibs and cinnamon. This is the only way to get either the bottle or sunglasses and availability will be very limited. Official details of the release will be posted on Sunday.

95 ‘Til Infinity – An Imperial Stout aged in High West Rye Whiskey barrels for one year and treated with cassia (cinnamon) and Ghanaian cacao nibs. This will be the very first barrel-aged beer released in bottles by Abnormal Beer Co. Look for it soon!
All of the Lights – An Imperial Milk Porter with coffee and Nutella, made in collaboration with J. Wakefield Brewing and Mostra Coffee.
M3 – An Imperial Stout with Ghanian cacao nibs, Madagascar vanilla beans and Costa Rican coffee made in collaboration with 3 Sons Brewing and Mostra Coffee. Brewed for Mostra Coffee’s 3rd Anniversary.
