BeerGuysTV BrewCasts - podcasts about beer.

When there’s a pandemic and you still want to BrewCast, you improvise. Greg, Carol, and Shane decided to connect online while keeping their distance. They don’t keep their distance from beer however, as they decide to try Breckenridge Brewery Nitro Irish Stout. This is a lighter stout comparable to Guinness Stout yet has a maltier flavor. There’s more to this review than what you just read, so watch and find out what the beer guys and gal think of Breckenridge Brewery’s Nitro Irish Stout.

We know it's been a while since we've post a BrewCast. We've been preoccupied. We finally had a moment where we could sit down and actually film something. We are a cruisin' for a brusin', we must say, so this BrewCast is all about brewing on a cruise ship.

Recently, BeerGuysTV Greg and Carol went to some warm weather and on a Carnival Cruise. While there they sat down with brewmaster Rob from the Pig & Anchor Brewhouse and asked him how brewing life on a cruise ship is. Enjoy a brew, while you watch this BGTV BrewCast.

It’s fall. The leaves are turning, the air is crisp, and farmers are harvesting the fruits of their labor. This also means it’s time for the marzen style brews, including pumpkin flavors. This is nothing new. Pumpkin has been used in brews for years. It’s been a while since we’ve reviewed any so we thought we’d do a BrewCast on a couple from of this year’s pumpkin patch.

Dogfish Head Brewing offers their Punkin Ale is their fall pumpkin brew, and Tin Whiskers Schottky Pumpkin is their entrance this fall.

Both are unique and we tell you all about them in this fall pumpkin BrewCast.

We check out Firestone Walker's Old Man Hattan. It's a barrel-aged mashup of two classic cocktails; the Old Fashioned and the Manhattan. From their website, "This inaugural Proprietor's Vintage release features a blend of five notable Firestone Walker beers, including select lots of Parabola and Helldorado aged in cherry, orange and aromatic bitters barrels. "

It was originally a Black Friday release available only at the brewery, but was popular enough to become a limited release in their Vintage series.

When Forager wins, we all win, and we all get a Participation Trophy. It's a Pilsner, so it's on the lighter side of beer. We visited the Forager Brewing booth at the IPA Invitational and we got a Trophy to review. Check out this BrewCast for the Beer Guys (and Gals) review!
