Acts 7. The religious leaders arrest Stephen and demand answers. Why is he teaching and healing in the name of Jesus of Nazareth? Given his opportunity, Stephen preaches to the assembly. He goes all the way back to Abraham, Jacob and Moses and retells the story of Israel with Jesus at the center. And though it cost him his life, Stephen sees the Father and Jesus standing in heaven cheering him on.
