Before Marriage 21

If you have been struggling to read the Bible, or you just don't seem to understand what you read when you actually do, there are a few reasons for this, but the Holy Spirit showed me something while reading Ephesians 1:1 

"This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus. I am writing to Gods Holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful followers of Christ Jesus"

I have read this verse many times, but this time around, I saw something different!

Paul qualified who he was writing to - he wasn't writing to new believers in the faith, neither was he writing to unbelievers, he was writing to DISCIPLES (those who were faithful followers of Christ)

Is it possible that you've been reading parts of the Bible that weren't written to you in the season you are currently in? Is it possible that your inability to truly understand, is because you haven't built up a solid foundation in your faith yet?

This is why we decided to start this Biblestudy, because when people who claim to be Christians, become genuine Christians through the revelation of Jesus Christ, we can then become the light and salt of the earth as God originally designed us to be.
