In 2009, an estimated 1.5 million Americans filed for bankruptcy. The overwhelming majority of those filing bankruptcy were middle income, highly educated, owned a home, married, with children, around 44 years old and insured.  At the same time 1.1 million new millionaires were preparing to leave the middle class.  Many of those left in the middle class suffered as their income and wealth decreased. The middle class exploded with close to 3 million departing from it's ranks.  What was so great about life (health care) before Obamacare that republicans and the far right media would want us to return to the way we were?   We needed health care reform in this country.
