From Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria in Las Vegas, NV, we're joined by the founder of ICONic Clothing Brand & the mastermind behind Operation Stolen Base, a notorious sports memorabilia fraud. This former professional baseball player shares his remarkable career journey, including the staggering amount of money he never earned. Prior to Operation Stolen Base, he ran a legitimate business on eBay, detailing its evolution into forging signatures and his expertise in authenticating autographs.

Amidst the allure of big money, Cliff enjoyed a lavish lifestyle while still pursuing his baseball dreams. He managed multiple phones and recounts how an incident involving two individuals with gift cards triggered his investigation, ultimately concluding in December 2014.

Operation Stolen Base drew parallels to organized crime and resulted in a RICO indictment. Cliff discusses the genesis of a Sports Illustrated article on his case. In prison, he became known as THE BOOKIE. He also shares the challenges of transitioning to a halfway house and his foray into designing his own clothing brand, ICONic. The conversation concludes with a glimpse into Cliff's present life and ways to follow/connect with him.

She emerged as a five-time World Boxing Champion and graced the pages of Playboy, all while staunchly advocating for mental health awareness. Returning to her mother’s homeland for a championship bout, she delved into Tae Kwon Do and took up fighting in grade school to combat bullying. Her struggle with alcohol began at a tender age of 11, prompting her journey to sobriety, which now entails a daily structure to maintain her wellbeing amidst various disorders.

The decision to pursue a professional boxing career came full circle when she faced a particular opponent twice, ultimately leading to her retirement. Reflecting on the perception of women's boxing as a novelty, she once embodied the sport's forefront before baring herself in Playboy in 1999, driven not only by financial reasons but also by a personal rationale.

Her life journey is marked by triumph over adversity, including a near-tragic skiing accident threatening her limb, the devastating loss of her son to suicide stemming from paranoid schizophrenia, and a prolonged legal battle with California over the ban of plastic bags in mental health facilities.

She speaks passionately about the need for a nationwide campaign to destigmatize mental illness and enforce treatment protocols akin to other medical conditions. Amidst her reflections lie regrets and a deeper sense of purpose, emphasizing the imperative for families to receive comprehensive information about available care facilities.

Giuseppe “Joseph” Parisi while sitting in his jail cell penned a diary that serves as the foundation for this intriguing narrative. The epic unfolds in Southern Italy, where 17-year-old Giuseppe embarked on a journey to America. As the year 1920 marked the onset of Prohibition, a wave of feuds swept the nation, and West Springfield, MA, was no exception. The catalyst? The murder of Carlo Siniscalchi, the King of Little Italy, at the hands of Giuseppe.

This notorious event catapulted the story onto the national stage, sparking a mob war that lasted 13 years and a trial drew over 2000 spectators during the intense closing arguments. The jury, after contemplation, delivered a verdict that echoed through the corridors of justice.

In the aftermath, jurors united in signing a petition against the sentencing. Meanwhile, Carlo’s widow, Pasqualina, assumed the mantle of the Queen of Bootlegging, only to meet a tragic end as she was brutally murdered in front of her companion, who peculiarly escaped with just a minor injury. Was he trying to take control of her empire?

Fast forward to later years, Giuseppe, now seeking citizenship, found himself filing papers alongside his former attorney, now holding the esteemed position of the governor of Massachusetts. Nick tantalizes you with a sneak peek into his forthcoming book, promising another riveting tale.

The show welcomes a professional baseball player from the Cincinnati Reds, known as Captain Chaos. TJ discusses the benefits of playing multiple sports and shares his journey from being a preferred walk-on at the University of Nevada to becoming the most valuable position player in 2016, thanks in part to a motivational tweet.

His misunderstanding of the MLB draft rule led to him receiving the biggest bonus ever given to an undrafted free agent. TJ recounts his unforgettable debut in the Pioneer League and reflects on the grind of the minor leagues that shaped him. He shares a touching story of being told he was headed to "The Show" and describes hitting a home run for his first MLB hit, which Mookie Betts later traded for a signed bat.

TJ also discusses the ups and downs of the 2023 season, his outlook for 2024, and his offseason training regime at The Gym LV, operated by Rob Martinez, who specializes in sports-specific training, functional movement, and injury reduction. Additionally, TJ's family has a rich lineage of college basketball coaches at Kentucky, Xavier, and URI.

Recorded from Dom DeMarco's Pizzeria in Las Vegas. He is the longest serving first time non-violent offender that was given a life sentence without parole. After serving 32 years and being the most appealed prisoner, he was released.

George explains what Gunman’s Row in Philadelphia where he grew up and as a two-year old seeing Benny the Gimp get shot in front of him. He was given the nickname of Cowboy, which he hates, and how that name started.

Great stories about his days dealing marijuana and how a diamond that was sewn into his pocket saved his life. His conversation with Pablo Escobar is a good one! Why Washington squeezed him after getting arrested is a great story in itself. George is the real-life man from the movie-Con Air and recalls the hijacking on the plane. He is a prolific writer that all began when he was locked in a boxcar cell for two weeks and found a pencil.

Being a workout buddy to a guy who had cut the head off three people! Does he wonder how he made it through it all and being the Growfather!

The best in state teacher multiple times by Golf Digest and founder of the JRL Academy with his son, Grant who is a rising player in the game.

The story behind as a ten-year old going on a trip to Florida resulted in John being introduced to the game of golf and 6 months later he wins his first golf tournament. He has worked with Eddie Merrins and his short game coach was Dennis Sheehy who worked with the great Seve Ballesteros. Chi Chi Rodriguez took John under his wing but what is one thing he took from him that he has passed onto Grant?

He played his first tour event with BTL former guest Brett Quigley and has played the famous Riveria Country Club in college, on tour, and with his son. Tommy asks John to rate them in order of importance to him. John is impressed that Tommy asked him about a couple stories on being mistaken as a valet person and an amateur as a pro! Good stuff here!

John’s career was cut short by a back injury that he tells us about, starting a bait business to pay bills and who was influential in beginning his teaching career. We talk about how the mental side of the game is not practiced enough which brings in G Unit aka Grant Leary.

Grant tells how the love of the game began and became a science experiment on his first ever tournament which is a really good story! The contract he signed as a fourth grader set the tone for the importance of academics, talking golf at home with dad, and his first two-day win being interviewed by his father. What 2023 taught him, his outlook for 2024 and the explanation of two breakfast days in golf.

John uses his experience of being humbled in the game to prepare his son for them. The development of the California Jr. Golf Tour and final questions for them both.
