Eventually, Cench became engrossed with the idea of making his own music and he began composing his first tracks as a pre-teen. Music has been in Dr. Dre’s blood from the very start. The man who would one day revolutionize the hip-hop game started working as a DJ in his teens and his first major success came not long after as a member of the rap group, N.W.A.
