  • Famous Dex | Where Are They Now? | How Drugs Ruined His Life
Renowned for his vocal dexterity, not mention his wicked improvisations and frenetic energy, Chicago rapper Famous Dex first made a name by producing a brand of hooky, Southern-influenced hip-hop music. After creating a handful of self-released mixtapes, he finally found chart success in 2018 thanks to his debut studio album, “Dex Meets Dexter”. Unfortunately, soon afterwards, he’d undergo a series of controversies and begin losing his battle with addiction. After numerous arrests in 2020, Dex would finally check into rehab at the end of the year. Less than a month later he was out and apparently clean, but shortly thereafter, Dex would begin reappearing on social media, clearly inebriated. Not only that, he’d find himself hit with 19 domestic violence and firearm charges stemming from the series of arrests. Want to find out how Dex avoided spending a potential 18-years behind bars? • DigDat | Before They Were Famous | Troubled Life of Darren Diggs | Pain Built
London’s ever-growing drill market remains one of the most exciting and totally unpredictable music scenes in the entire world. Quite simply put, you never know what kind of character is going to emerge next. Case in point, Lewisham rapper DigDat claimed a Top 20 entry on the British Charts back in November of 2018 for a remix to his hit song, “Air Force” -- the highest a drill track had ever climbed to that point in time. So, what about this upcoming rapper who immediately struck a chord with his listeners? In a word, I’d say authenticity. Nearly every rapper likes to spit bars about how difficult their childhood was, but with DigDat, you know every verse he drops is achingly real because the man spent five years of his adolescence behind bars. Want to learn how all that came to be? Then keep watching our newest episode of Before They Were Famous!

  • Bob Saget | Gone But Not Forgotten | Tribute To The Life Of Legendary TV Dad
As one of the funniest voices of his generation, Bob Saget would find new, creative, and often vulgar ways to express his own frustrations with life. And yet, let’s be honest, many of us will remember him in a totally different light as that “TV Dad” we all wish we had growing up. His portrayal of Danny Tanner was everything a father was supposed to be; loving, considerate, funny, and accepting – he touched everyone who ever watched it and that’s probably why, here at the hour of his death, many of us are finding his passing so difficult. It’s with a heavy heart that I tell you, this past weekend, Bob Saget was found dead in his hotel room. He was only 65-years-old. Personally, I couldn’t think of a better way to honor the man, so let’s take a look back at Bob Saget’s life and career.

  • Blueface | Where Are They Now? | The Fall of His Career
Blueface, the rapper who named himself after his early School Yard Crips gang ties, catapulted from local Los Angeles obscurity to hip-hop notoriety thanks in large part to his ubiquitous 2018 single, “Thotiana”. Prior to that, he had laid the necessary groundwork with singles like “Respect My Crypn’”, but unlike with “Thotiana”, none of those tracks had stars like YG or Cardi B jumping on their remixes. Following his sudden ascendance to worldwide fame, Blueface seemed poised to become one of the biggest rappers of recent memory. But then, a series of legal issues would stem the tide and delay his debut studio album until March of 2020. Since then, Blueface has split his time between music and creating a reality television series for his OnlyFans profile. Oh, and he’s also decided to throw his hat into the newest trend of celebrity boxing. So, how did Blueface go from being the next big thing in rap to owning his very own sea-food restaurant? You’re about to find out in our newest episode of Where Are They Now!

  • Lil Pump | Where Are They Now | How He Ended His Career
From nearly the moment he debuted there were people who believed that Lil Pump was nothing more than a joke. I’m not sure if it was the multi-colored hair, the ample number of cartoonish tattoos that occupy the majority of the real estate on his face, or the fact that he created one of the most obnoxious catchphrases of all time with “Eskeetit”, but when he first arrived on the scene circa 2017, you either got Lil Pump or you didn’t. For a while there, most people did, but after a tumultuous past couple of years in which he would find himself arrested on multiple occasions, fake his retirement, and then re-emerge by aligning himself with former President Donald Trump, well, Lil Pump lost a lot of the ground he originally made-up. Just when it looked like things couldn’t get much worse, the IRS came calling with a couple massive bills totaling around $2 Million in back taxes. So, what does a barely 21-year-old fading rap-icon do when a bill that largely comes due? He drops a new album of course! Want to find out what’s new in the life of Lil Pump? Then keep watching our newest episode of Where Are They Now!

California rapper, Lil Xan, debuted a few years ago and developed a drugged-out soundscape that helped propel his early single “Betrayed” to nearly immediate viral success. But not long after blowing-up Lil Xan would decide to get sober after watching his friend Mac Miller lose his life due to his substance abuse issues. The craziest part? Deciding to get clean was just the beginning of Lil Xan’s health issues. But after a tumultuous couple of years, it seems like Lil Xan is in a better place than ever. He’s not only clean but also getting back into a relationship with none other than Tana Mongeau. Want to learn what Lil Xan has been up to recently?
