Before Dr. Dre would have a recent health scare after suffering a brain aneurysm and being rushed to the hospital where he has since been recovering. Before Dr. Dre would have over 5 Million followers on Instagram, almost 3 Million followers on Twitter, and over 4 Million subscribers on YouTube at the time of this recording. Music has been in Dr. Dre’s blood from the very start. The man who would one day revolutionize the hip-hop game started working as a DJ in his teens and his first major success came not long after as a member of the rap group, N.W.A. Later on, in his career, and his first solo album, “The Chronic” released in 1992, was one of the biggest hits of the decade. In fact, more than any other rapper, Dr. Dre is credited for moving away from the political stance and party vibes of old school rap, in order to create a gangsta rap. But as well-known as he is for his rapping career, Dre would probably be the first to tell you that his true talent was as a producer working with acts like Eminem and 50 Cent before diversifying even further and co-founding the company Beats Electronics which would make him richer than near anything else he was ever a part of.

His lyrics have been combed over, his personal life and public appearance documented, analyzed, and picked apart. While dealing with drug addiction, lawsuits, and divorce Eminem has managed to stay on the tip of everyone's lips for the past twenty years. The Dark Side Of Fame is a different story altogether – Marshall was a child of a broken home with an absent father and had a troubled relationship with his mother. As he grew older and eventually found success, he rallied against drug and alcohol abuse, dealt with a failed marriage, and had to defend himself from lawsuits filed against him by his own family members. And that’s far from all of it. Outcries of homophobia, misogyny, anger issues, public revenge fantasies, and more beef with other musicians than you can possibly imagine were to follow & we ain't even talking about his alias Slim Shady who has rapped about confessions of stuff we can't even mention here so you will have to watch the video.

Before Tom MacDonald would have over 60K followers on Twitter, 350K followers on Instagram, and over 1.5 Million subscribers on YouTube at the time of this recording. Beating your idol on the Itunes charts even if it's just for an hour or even a minute must be one of a surreal moment. For Tom Eminem was obviously a massive influence but it was actually a 2pac album that first had him fall in love with him hop. The road to success has been long and hard and he nearly drinks his life away over the span of five years while dealing with crippling depression. Tom is finally on the other side of things. But he knows all too well how horrifying it is to hit rock bottom. This Canadian rapper grew up in a small town in British Columbia and after a foray into the world of professional wrestling, he began working as a rapper, dropping his first album, Lee Ann’s Son back in 2014. Since then, he’s developed and refined his talent further, leading to his most successful track yet, “Best Rapper Ever”. You guys might have seen this one trending on YouTube but it's just one of 4 videos that in the past 50 days has clocked in millions of views.
