  • Jeffrey Dahmer | Before They Were Criminal | Insane Serial K1ller Story
Before Jeffrey Dahmer would become arguably the most notorious criminal of all time, he was born on May 21st, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Lionel and Joyce Dahmer. For the first few years of his life, Dahmer was described as an energetic and happy kid – right up until the age of four when he underwent surgery to correct a double hernia. Afterward, his parents believe he was never quite the same. Now noticeably subdued, Dahmer became increasingly withdrawn following his surgery as well as the birth of his younger brother, David, and his family’s frequent moves around Ohio including stops in Akron, Doylestown, and the Bath Township. At the age of 14 years old while attending Revere High School, Dahmer would participate in normal extracurriculars like band and intramural sports, but soon thereafter he broke away from the path of normalcy when he began fantasizing about criminal activities.

  • D Block Europe | Before They Were Famous | Young Adz & Dirtbike LB Success Story
Before the hip-hop collective known as D Block Europe would take over the “UK rap wave” scene with their unfiltered takes on the streets and some truly explicit sexual lyrics, Adam Nathaniel “Young Adz” Williams and Ricky Earl “Dirtbike LB” Banton would be born on July 29th, 1995 and October 30th, 1996 respectively. These two developed the kind of chemistry you can’t fake by spending a good portion of their youth together, forging their friendship on the streets of South London. They first met at Catford’s Sedgehill Academy and bonded over the fact that their older brothers knew one another. Neither one of them enjoyed their time in Sedgehill and both remember it being a rather inadequate educational institution that failed to prepare them for life in the real world. LB, in particular, feels like the school set them up for a life on the streets and that the teachers spent more time fighting with students than teaching them anything of merit. Of course, it also didn’t help that their home life didn’t offer much in the form of rules or structure either.

  • Coolio | Gone But Not Forgotten | Gangsta's Paradise Tribute
Hip-Hop legend, Coolio, the man who once lit up the charts with massive hits like “Gangsta’s Paradise” and “Fantastic Voyage”, has died at the age of 59. Born Artis Ivey Jr. on August 1st, 1963 in Monessen, Pennsylvania -- which is just South of Pittsburgh -- Coolio moved to Compton, California as a kid and then spent his teenaged years growing-up in Northern part of the state where his mother sent him after realizing that Compton was far too dangerous a place for her son to spend his childhood. In past interviews, Coolio has suggested he first became a fan of hip-hop after hearing “Freedom” by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. He was captivated by the flow of rapper Melle Mel and would do his best to imitate that iconic style when he first started rapping at the age of 15. Within three years, Coolio says he knew that hip-hop was what he wanted to do with his life, but he’d wind up attending Compton Community College and working as a volunteer firefighter and as security at LAX before devoting himself to his true passion.

  • Savannah Bond | Before They Were Famous | Your Favorite Actress
Savannah Bond was born on June 6th, 1990, in Melbourne, Australia. Long before she became one of the most prominent actresses in the industry, Savannah was a Catholic high-school student who often found herself getting into a whole heap of trouble. Being the sociable creature that she was, Savannah had a huge group of friends, both girls, and boys, but even still, she says that she seldom if ever dated during these years. In fact, she didn’t start dating regularly until about three years after leaving high-school behind, having dropped out during her third year. According to Savannah the problem with her school environment was that it was extremely conservative which meant that she couldn’t act on any of the crushes she was harboring. On top of that she also lived about 2-hours away from campus which kept her isolated from most of the others in her peer group.

  • Ice Spice | Before They Were Famous | UPDATED | Bronx Rapper's Price is GOING UP!!!
Ice Spice realized that drill music was her future. But it wouldn’t be until she met her good friend and future producer, RIOT that she’d actually attempt to mount a career in it. With both of these two hailing from the Bronx, they immediately hit it off and Riot began sending her the beats he was working on to see if any of them interested her. One of those beats was what would eventually become “Bully” and Ice couldn’t get enough of it. Right around this same time, Ice took part in the Erica Banks “Buss It” challenge on TikTok and found her short clip going wildly viral with over a million views. Recognizing that now was the time to strike while the iron was hot -- in March of 2021 Ice finally hit the booth where she laid down some vocals over top of RIOT’s “Bully” beat for what would become her very first song ever. Working closely alongside her friend, these two got the track finished in just one week and then dropped it later that month. Since then, these two frequent collaborators have dropped four further tracks together and picked up a considerable amount of buzz along the way.
