He spent two and half years in prison and thought that the life of a hustler was the only future he'd ever know but his lifelong love for flashy jewelry eventually opened up a new career that would keep him out of prison, able to support his loved ones and get to hang with the worlds biggest names in music and entertainment. Jimmy Boi was born Jimmy Phan on June 9th, 1982 in Alief Texas, a suburb of Houston, an area known for its high crime rate and ethnically diverse population. His father Anthony Phan was a member of a very famous Vietnamese band known as CBC Band who overcame poverty learning to sing Western rock music for American soldiers. Following the Vietnam war, the band members' lives were at risk so they fled via boat traveling through Tibet and India before finally making it to America and settling in Houston.

What's going on guys? My name is Michael McCrudden and it is with a heavy heart that I piece this video together in memory of George Floyd. I know as a white man in Canada who makes these videos, many in the hip hop or urban genre the daily struggle isn't one that I've witnessed myself. I fully understand that I'm privileged to never to have to worry about dying because of the color of my skin. With that said, I stand by the Black Lives Movement wholeheartedly and if anything can come from this it will be some changes for equality in America and the rest of the world. Anyway. We make these videos with the utmost respect. Please leave your condolences down below.
