I’ll talk about putting God in compartments and what that means/looks like and in order for him to fully move in our lives we have to surrender It at his feet. Before we can ever stand to slay our Giants it starts with allowing him to come and do his work in all facets of our lives, inviting Christ and come into acknowledgment that he’s author of all these things. Have you ever stop to ask what did David have that allowed him to slay Goliath when all others failed? It was that he understood who he was in his fathers eyes, he had to replicate and walk in his Fathers strength not on his own not because of any merit or anything he did but because of his God. When you truly understand that you’ll find freedom that It never had anything to do with us but everything to do with him. If you’re struggling with who you are in Christ look at Christ’s image, look at who he emulated and that’s also something Christ understood he said he came in the authority of his father and then he only did what he saw his father do meaning he understood it was in his father image as well that he found his identity. We can partake in that same authority/identity and slay our Giants, but only when we realize it’s not In our identity that it can happen but I’m in his.
